Intensive Training For Puppies And Adult Dogs

Intensive training from an experienced trainer who can read your dog’s body language to gauge the mood and temperament at the time. What is included?

All adult dogs must be crate trained

• Bespoke training plan

• Not spending lots of time in crates, they live like our own dogs

I specialise in reading a puppies body language and improving puppy socialisation using positive reinforcement methods. The life skills a new puppy and other dogs learn with me will give them a much better understanding of behaviour in everyday life.

Tailor Made Training

For owners who wants the absolute best for their dogs, with behaviour training but find themselves pressed for time, my residential training is your “go to” option.  I train naughty dogs to become good dogs and teach stressed out owners how to have calm confident dogs.

It is difficult to find someone who you can trust with your adored family dog.  I can assure you I offer a calm, secure and positive safe environment whilst they are with me including when we are out, as your dog will always be on a lead or long line when they are not being trained in a secure field.

You can expect to see drastic changes in your dog’s behaviour. Not only is this programme ideal those owners who want an exceptionally well-behaved obedient dog, that can go with them anywhere.

Dogs I Cannot Take In

• Separation Anxiety – dogs with separation anxiety are not suited to residential training
• Aggression to dogs/people or reactive dogs I prefer to work closely with the owner so they have a better understanding of the process which can sometimes be resolved quite quickly, although some can take a few weeks.
• Bitches in season. I have 4 male dogs although all neutered.

Packages

Our in-house board and train packages are tailored towards each individual dog, we will have devised a plan from our initial conversation and our assessment form before they arrive.

We only take in two dogs for training at a time so we have more time to give them, These intensive courses provide rapid, impressive and lasting results. You can book your dog in for between 2 -8 weeks depending on the needs of the dog

At the end of the dogs stay we have a thorough handover process ensuring that you understand and learn exactly what is required to maintain those results forever, online or telephone aftercare and support is available to you for up to a year following your dogs stay with us. We highly encourage you to make use of the private one-to-one consultations included in your package to “tune up” and improve both your dogs training and your handling skills. You can use these tune-up consultations any time within a year of the date your dog completed their training.

How many weeks should you book for?

2 week stays

We start at a minimum of 2 weeks to teach your dog the basic commands (cues) and essential life skills. This is known as foundation training, although 3 weeks will give you a better result.

3 weeks stays

In 3 weeks, we teach more cues and behaviours in low level distraction areas, this includes visiting cafes, shopping areas, pubs where we encourage calmness and confidence, impulse control etc.

50% deposit secures your dates. Balance will be due the day before your dogs arrival.

Payments can be made by bank transfer

Surcharges: Currently we do not charge more for public holidays.
